Last week, the studio welcomed Mehdi, pop & folk singer and his musicians from Saint-Lô (LyriX is his artist pseudo You can find here his facebook page or instagram) for the recording of his first EP with André Baille Barrelle directing (Studio LDC in Montreuil)
It started the Monday July the 12th with impressive showers outside to install their equipment, then we got a magnificent sun for a dinner in the garden with a view of our wild green Normandy countryside.
The first few hours, we mostly rewired to connect André's workstation in the control room making the best use of the studio patch bay, I got a little hot, then everything went perfectly well and I was able to get time to take some pictures, entrusting André with the sound recording of this project.
On Thursday evening, we listened to a first flat mix of 3 recorded songs and were very happy with the sounds to keep the very personal style of LyriX songs.
Good job for everyone.

An indelible records new production which I hope will be released by the end of the year in an ep vinyl format from independent record stores with a great video to imagine now because "This is what we are"
